Cheryl Daniel, a fourth-generation Texan, has lived most of her adult life in the Houston area in the shadow of NASA’s Johnson Space Center.  Her fascination with the space program and events extraterrestrial merged with her love of historical fiction to produce Catch a Falling Star, a what-if story spun from the legend of the Roswell crash and the prospect of extraterrestrial life.

      Cheryl has published articles in The Houston Chronicle and stories and essays in various magazines and newsletters.  She has written a regular article for The Houston Writer for two years.


     She holds a degree in sign language interpreting and has worked in that field for twenty years. She has two sons and lives in a Houston suburb with her husband, Eddie, two cats, Jaws the Gerbil, and a Yorkshire terrier named Beaux. She is currently working on a sequel.
